Maytag Front Loading Washer Troubleshooting Question?

Error comes up suds and code F35 and shuts off. What does this mean? and how do you fix it?

F 35 error code indicates "analog pressure sensor failure" on the washer's main board. It is a 5 minute fix and most service techs have the replacement part on hand. We just had our Maytag 5000 Series repaired, under warranty thankfully, and the repairman said Maytag installed a "bad batch" of these sensors on a lot of washers and he had been replacing this component like crazy. Total service call fee would have been $227.00 inc part according to his receipt. A letdown for a 6-month old washer but again, thankfully under warranty. Maytag did a great job sending the repairman out same day. If your washer is out of warranty, I recommend compelling Maytag to honor this repair anyway since they know there's a problem with the component. Another option is to purchase the part and install yourself. It looked easy- unplug the washer from the outlet, open the top panel removing 2 screws at the back, pop out the bad sensor from the main board and pop in the new sensor.
