Bought New Maytag Bravos, But Will Not Start

We just had the washing machine installed today, it is all hooked up, but when pushing the Start button nothing happens. Even though that the Power button has been pressed, the cycle has been selected, and the lid is closed. Any good idea ?

Your "installer" did a lousy job. Creditable installers check the appliances for function before departing. You should have someone "credible" check your electrical panel, circuits and receptacle for valid current. Once this is done, you can "begin" to question the appliance.
