Remove A Sock Behind The Washing Basket
My washer has a strong mildew smell, so I am thinking a sock went over the edge and fell behind the washing basket. I need to know how to access that area to remove the sock. I have searched online, but every website says to remove the front panel; the problem is this particular model does not have a front panel, there are no seams on the sides. I thought about removing just the top, but I noticed a tin panel covers the entire back of the machine and I don't want to remove more parts than I need to. I'm afraid to use my washer because I don't want the sock to move and get stuck in the drain tube, potentially causing damage and expensive repair. Please help! Thank you!

Hi! Unfortunately you will indeed need to remove the top panel at the very least in order to get access to the sock. If the sock is stuck much further down, then the back panel has to be detatched from the base to gain access.
