Mvwc300vwi. Water Valve How To Replace
when set to hot water comes out warm.when I shut the cold water supply off the water comes out hot.

he shut off valve is not closing all the way and mixing with temptures its the t inside unit where the cold water and hotwater meet insiide and the machine tells the valve to close or open or mix your hotwater side doesnt close completely could be dirt or build up hard water to cause it or if it ever froze partially could cause.but fliters should have caught debre if there was any. Mine did this i replaced and works great . remember there pump that pulls water in washer.i shouldnt pull hot if cold selected.but if u washed with hot load before could have left over hot water in lines and mix making it warm. If accessable u can turn hot valve off then cant pull no hot water in washer.but if u want hot it will burn pump up if u got hotwater valve turned off.so just something u can do to save replacing valves. But remember rince is always cold i believe or warm not sure on that .if so may take longer to rince fill if it mixing from hot and cold if hot off.just temperary fix i do shut my hot off i wash in cold unless it whites.dryer get hot to kill germs.saved on our electric bill cost and not fading our colors . good luck.
