How To Remove Top Of Maytag Centenial Washer
Lid switch is broken . Washer only fills will not agitate or spin

1st open the console by using a putty knife. Push the putty knife into and under the front left and the front right lower corners of the console while pushing up on the console. There a sping like clips under the front corners that will release the console and the console will tilt back and open like a trunk lid. You will see the lid switch in the top left on the cabnet. Make sure to open the washer lid when u replace the new lid switch or it will break!!
