Have Maytag Bravos Model Mvwx700xw1. Does Everything But Wash.
In Wash the wash plate just moves back and forth 1" from the normal about 5" range. Already replaced the motor and belt because the motor was spewing oil that also got on the belt. Replaced the switch actuator to fix the no spin problem. It is after I fix the spin problem that the no wash issue came to live. I replaced the Splutch Cam which did not fix the wash problem.The motor shaft has a 3/8" up/down play. Is this too much?So what caused the wash agitator to quit after I replaced the switch actuator. The wash plate is stout that indicates the splines are fine. (I can move the wash drum by moving the wash plate). It is like the command to move the wash plate back and forth is barely there.
