Check the power supply: Ensure that the washer is properly connected to a functioning power outlet. Make sure the circuit breaker or fuse for the washer is not tripped or blown.
Check the water supply: Verify that the water supply valves are fully turned on and that the water hoses are not kinked or damaged. Also, check if there is sufficient water pressure coming from the supply.
Clean the water inlet screens: The water inlet valve of the washer may have clogged screens, preventing water from entering the machine. Turn off the water supply, disconnect the hoses, and clean the screens using a brush or toothpick. Reconnect the hoses and turn the water supply back on.
Check the drain hose: Ensure that the drain hose is properly installed and not kinked or clogged. Make sure it is at the correct height and that there are no obstructions in the drain system.
Inspect the drain pump: The drain pump may be clogged or faulty, preventing water from being pumped out. Locate the drain pump (usually at the bottom of the washer) and check for any debris or blockages. Clean or replace the pump if necessary.
