Power Level

I set time for 60 seconds and push start.  Power level reads 100 and food does not heat up.  When I push the power level button on the control panel, there is no response on the digital readout.  Does this mean that something has failed in the oven and I can no longer change the power level?  unit is microwave, Maytag MMV4205BAQ
