Maytag Epic Z Stops At Spin Cycle

I have a Maytag Epic Z front loading washing machine that stops prior to the spin cycle and does not drain the water. I have replaced the entire pump and drain mechanism and verified the the hoses are clear. It still does the same thing. It stops and completely powers off but leaves the door locked light on (red). Is there a sensor that needs to be replaced?
