Why Is Dryer Not Supplying Heat To Dry Clothes?

Have to run clothes for about 3 or 4 cycles in a row in order to dry a load.

My first guess would be to check and clean out the lint screen. My dryer takes forever to dry clothes if the lint screen is blocked up. If the screen is clear, then the other poster is correct. Your dryer must have a bad heating element or a defective thermostat.

The heating element has to be replaced, I would check the thermostat first, Right now it is just air drying, that is why you have to run it 3-4 cycles
