Dispensing Ice Through Door

the ice is getting jambed up in the auger when trying to dispense out into the chute. i will get a few pieces that crush up and then i will get some solid pieces after a little time of just letting it grind in the auger. there are no pieces broken in the auger or tray. is the a problem that anyone has seen or complained about before? and is ther a solution. thanks Eddie
