How To Open The Door When Handle Is Broken ?

How do you open a Maytag dishwasher with a broken handle?
Turn off the power to the dishwasher by turning off the breaker at the breaker panel. Unscrew the inside door panel using a star screw driver. Unscrew the broken plastic handle and replace with the new part.
