Remember that magic jack is not really that cheap, because you need a computer with high-speed Internet (which isn't free) for it to work.

And anyway, once you have a computer with high speed Internet, you can use free online faxing services and you don't need a fax machine at all (you don't even need a built-in fax modem on your computer).

To send any document on your computer to any other fax machine, for free, go to http://faxzero.com/

And to get a free incoming fax phone number (received faxes show up as documents sent to your email address) go to http://www.efax.com
