Magicjack Plus Is Not Allowing Me To Choose My Old Phone Number As Per The Adver

While registering mj plus I was unable to choose my old phone number as advertised. What is going on? How can I get this promised problem fixed?

magicJack is not straightforward in its promotional copy. It does indeed enourage purchases based on the prospect of porting one's home phone number, even though many such phone numbers cannot be ported. I'm afraid all you can do is return the product and, possibly, complain to the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services (850-488-2221).
