Hi Moria;

Need a bit more information. Magic Jack speed and flow is 75% dependent on how powerful your computer is and 25% on how fast your internet connection is. I suspect there was more to your question but the "Owl" cut you off. Start by connecting to the fastest computer, and have NO open windows (except Magic Jack) and see if you notice any improvement.

Does your magicJack softphone read "Ready to Call"?

If YES:

On your magicJack softphone:
Click "Menu"
Select "Volume/Headset Control"
Choose and "Check Off" Your Device:

"Telephone" OR "Headset/Other"

If that does not work:

Unplug your telephone from your magicJack BUT leave your magicJack connected to the computer.
Place a test call using the magicJack softphone.
If the call goes through, please try using a different phone with your magicJack.

If your magicJack softphone does not read "Ready to Call" please contact our online live chat.
