Receiving Faxes With Block Numbers On The Magic Jack Plus

I own a Magic Jack Plus and when the County send me faxes I don't receive them because the numbers that they use are block numbers. Is there a way Magi Jack use a function where the block numbers can be recognize by Magic Jack. Thank You. I fax within my house from the Magic Jack Plus to an AT&T line where I have a fax connected to it and it works. Then I do it the other way around and it works too. But when a business or the County try to send me faxes it does not work. Please help

The problem is that magicJack does not officially support faxing, which means that they do not have an answer in their support pages concerning receiving faxes from unlisted or blocked numbers.

Is the County entering your access code before the fax number?

Until someone has found a way around this issue, you might want to consider a low cost company such as this online service or use the information you find at this link to compare low cost services some of which will fax directly to your computer for a few dollars a month.

Your other option is to contact magicJack to ask them about their blocked number settings and how they can be changed.
