Why Do I Need A Prepaid Card To Call Alaska? What Is The Rate?

Why is Alaska different than CONUS? Does that also apply to call Hawaii? I now have a prepaid card of $20 and will I still get a message informing of the rate when I call!

This is representative of a disturbingly common complaint. magicJack promises free domestic calls, without limitation, and you're entitled to that benefit. A call to Alaska is a domestic call. If it's within 30 days, you can return the product using these instructions, but you'll have to bear the cost of return shipping. If magicJack is not fulfilling the terms of its promise, I urge you to complain to the Florida Attorney General at 850-414-3990, and the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399. You may also want to dispute your payment with your credit/debit card provider.
