  Navigate to the MagicJack website (magicjack.com/8/customerCare_windows7.asp) and download the Windows 7 update for the MagicJack device. Save the update to a folder on your computer.

  Connect the MagicJack to a USB port on your computer. Wait about a minute for Windows to detect the device and install the built-in driver and application.

  Navigate to the "Start" menu and select "Computer." Browse to the folder in which you saved the MagicJack update file. Double-click the file. Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to install the firmware update for your MagicJack device. Accept the firmware update default values and finish installing the update.

  Unplug the MagicJack device and wait about 15 seconds for Windows to unload the driver and call application.

  Reconnect the MagicJack device to the USB port. Windows loads the updated firmware driver and application. When the call application appears on the screen, use the program to make calls with your MagicJack as you normally do.

Tips & Warnings

Do not install the MagicJack Windows 7 Update on a computer that doesn't run Windows 7.
