Magic Jack Plus Installing First Then Switching To My Home Phone #

I just purchased Magic Jack Plus. I want to set it up initially with a Magic Jack # then after I see how clear the reception is I want to switch my home phone number to the device. Is this possible ?? Please advise. I did not open the package yet . Thank you . Ellie

After logging in, click the "My Subscriptions" tab, and then the "Details" button under "Transfer Your Phone Number to magicJack." Follow the prompts to submit your transfer request. There will be a fee of just under $20.00.
