Magic Jack Plus Doesn't Come Up On My Monitor

Purchased a new Magic Jack Plus, plugged into USB port. I hear the port take it but the magic jack does not come up on my monitor

If you're using a MAC, double-click the magicJack Plus icon that appears. (With a PC, magicJack Plus software will load automatically.) Click on "Click Here To Register" or on "Click Here for Free Trial."

Your magicJack may not work properly, or at all

if you're not logged on to your Windows user account,
if it's not running,
if it's not properly secured,
if the phone cord is not secured or is broken,
if you're not connected to the Internet,
if your Internet speed is too low,
if without a powered USB hub several phones are used to generate power from a USB port,
or if your magicJack device is defective.

If the device is not defective, these simple actions may resolve the problem. Or you may try these instructions. You can also reset the device, as explained here.

If the device is defective, you need to return it. If you bought it from magicJack, follow the instructions at http://my.magicjack.com/returns.html. If it's too late to return the device, you can seek a resolution with your credit card company or with the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399.
