Magic Jack Expired

I'am Installing my magic jack and it stopped half way and said my magic jack has been expired, why is that happening ??

One possible answer is that your subscription has indeed expired. To renew, go to my.magicjack.com, click the My Subscriptions tab, and under RENEWAL click Details. Then click One Year License or Five year License, and follow the instructions.

Otherwise you can try to resolve the issue with the company. Sorry to say, magicJack does not offer more than the most feeble customer support.

You can also try phoning them, at 561-594-9925.

If all else fails, you can dispute any payment with your credit card provider or complain to the Florida Dept. of Agriculture and Consumer Services, at 850-488-2221 or 2005 Apalachee Pkwy., Tallahassee, FL 32399. If it's within 30 days, you can return the product using these instructions.

It is happening to many brand new MagicJacks. I had sold several and they had been returned to me. How can a sealed Magicjack be expired when it has not been registered yet?

Hopefully is a server authentication issue and same magicjacks can be activated for the first time.

The only half valid reason given to me by magicjack chat support is that the magicjacks have a shelve life, is so there should be a label on the magicjack packaged saying must be registered before such date.

Still waiting for an answer from MagicJack, I got about 30 units with that problem.
