Why Cvan One Not Transfer One's Existing Phone Number.
I cossistantly am not able to transfer my existing phone number and am always immediately prompted to try later. What is the problem? I try during business hours. Do I have to contact my landline carrier about reserving my existing number if i decide to cancel? If I have to cancel my landline service first can I still get my old number? I AM TIRED OF PAYING MY LANDLINE CARRIERS THAT IS WHY I BOUGHT MAGICJACK BUT I WANT TO KEEP MY EXISTING NUMBER AS MAGICJACK HAS PROMOTED THIS CAPABILITY.

You do not have to reserve your current number with your landline carrier.
magicJack is not always successful in transferring your current number. If your old phone number is not transferable, you can return your device per these instructions (or if you bought it from a retailer, return it there).
