Uninstalling Magic Jack Fro My Computer Programs

I would like to use the telephone number assigned to my old (not working) Magic Jack on my new Magic Jack plus. Should I uninstall Magic Jack from my Computer Programs first?

No. During setup select “add to existing account” when prompted.
