E1 Error And Dvd Wont Eject Or Play

E1 is a disk read error. Unplug the unit & try to manually pull the the tray out to remove the cd/dvd. Try a different disk to see if it will read ok, if not the lens needs to be cleaned with a disk cleaner cd or some compressed air into the slot in short burst.
