Video Problems
I am having trouble with the video. no picture but sound and I have checked all thecords and everything is connected correctly

You might find your answer in this troubleshooting video, TV has sound but no picture.
Was the picture getting progressively dimmer before it stopped altogether? If so, that's a good sign that the backlight lamp needs to be replaced.
No picture can also indicate that the receiver needs to be rebooted, which is an easy fix. Simply turn off the TV, unplug the receiver and wait at least 10 seconds before reconnecting the receiver. Then turn on the receiver and TV. If that doesn't work, the issue is most likely with your backlight lamp or the ballast which starts up and powers the lamp.
