Will Mapsend Topo 3d Usa Ever Work On Windows 8? Really?

on win 8 machines, mapsend topo 3d USA crashes, "can't load drivers" error code 2. The magellen drivers site phone number sends you to goa, india where those people try [maybe succeed] in stealing your PC stuff and say they will furnish the MapSend Topo 3D USA "drivers" for a 3-year $275 contract. < I would not like to risk installing the drivers on your computer knowing that the existing errors might conflict with the new drivers and corrupt them.
