Charges

I am currently paying 19.95 per month for msn. gmail and related are free. What am I getting for this fee as I am at this point considering leaving msn for google.

MSN email is free as well.  You must be referring to MSN as an internet service provider.  With the 19.95, they provide the ability to access the Internet.  Gmail and MSN mail are both free services but without internet access you won't be able to access email.  If you currently pay for internet access by other means (Cable, DSL, Fiber Optic, and Satellite are the most popular) you can cancel the MSN ISP service.
