My Linkedin Account

I cannot acess my account. When I try to open my account I receive a message that thea server cannot be located. Why? Has my account been cancelled for some unknown reason.

Hi. I would suggest you get hold of Linkedin's Customer Service - It's just unfortunate that Linkedin's Customer Service reps cannot be reached prior to trying to obtain help from their programmed systems. Below is a link to their contact platform should you wish to further query the matter -

Hello cdallen8 yoaur account has not been cancelled, this is a connection problem. Try each of the follwoiing> 

To begin, try opening a website in another browser (such as Internet Explorer)..If the other browser can load the website, skip ahead and try to use other browser like chrome, explorer, and firefox.

You should also check the following:

  • Make sure you modem and/or router are both on and are not indicating errors.
  • If you are using a wireless connection, make sure that you are connected to the right access point.
  • Make sure your Internet security software (including firewalls, antivirus programs, anti-spyware programs, and more) is not blocking connections to the Internet. For instructions on how to configure some programs, see the Configure firewalls so that your browser can access the Internet article.
  • If you use a proxy server, make sure that the proxy server can connect to the Internet. For instructions on configuring proxy settings in Firefox, see browser connection settingsbelow.
