To replace the armrest on a 2014 Lincoln MKS, you will need the following tools:
A Torx T20 screwdriver
A flathead screwdriver
A pry bar
A new armrest
Instructions:
Remove the armrest cover by unscrewing the two Torx T20 screws on the underside of the armrest.
Remove the two Phillips screws that secure the armrest to the center console.
Use a pry bar to gently pry the armrest away from the center console.
Disconnect the wiring harness that is attached to the armrest.
Install the new armrest in the reverse order of removal.
Here are some additional tips for replacing the armrest on a 2014 Lincoln MKS:
Be careful not to damage the wiring harness when prying the armrest away from the center console.
If the armrest is stuck, you can try using a hair dryer to heat it up slightly before prying it loose.
Make sure that the new armrest is properly aligned before tightening the screws.
If you are not comfortable replacing the armrest yourself, you can take your Lincoln MKS to a qualified mechanic.
