Shifting And Runs Rough

I have an 04 aviator and it shifts realy hard seems to shift smoothly under very little excelleration and when vehicle is cold next it has a miss at an idol computer said miss fire on cylinder 5 I'm assuming thats driver side front plug at closest to fan i replaced plug and coil pack but no change
