My Liftmaster Beeps Every 30 Sec. Says Battery Needs Replaced. What Battery?

This unit has a battery back-up so that, in the event of power loss, your unit will still function for a few days (under normal operating condition). The abbtery lasts for about 3-5 years. If you are getting this beeping, it is likely indicating that the battery is no longer holding a charge and needs to be replaced (it is housed in the motor/lifter module).
