Spontaneous Operation

Liftmaster 3245M opens by itself, unexpectedly at random times without any movement in the garage or any remote activation.

Hi. The spontaneous operation of this unit may be caused by one of the following:

- A short in the door transmitter.
- A fault in the motor unit.
- Faulty wiring between the motor unit to the wall button.
- A faulty wall button.
