Oe Error And Drain Pump Grinds

Washer stopped during wash cycle, displayed OE error. Drained tub, cleaned drain filter. When washer is restarted, I only here what sounds like pump running, but hear grinding crunching noise. cycle time runs out and OE error is displayed again. never does anything different.

Although what you have done should have resolved your issue the likely problem is the actual drain pump has a foreign body inside. This would entail tracing back from the drain pipe to the pump and then remove the pump and disassemble it to find any debris stuck inside. The drain filter is normally before the pump and should stop foreign particles getting as far as the pump. The pump housing should be easy to take apart and re-assemble with a little patience. Make sure all water and electrical connections are disconnected before attempting this repair. This is a link to the user guide which may help.
