This Function Is Not Available

My LCD comes on by itself and then flashes "this function is not available now." The remote won't work and the set does not respond to any of the buttons on the side or front of the TV.

Hi I see that you have or had the exact same problem atht I have now. Did you ever figure out what was wrong or how to fix it? I would love some ideas if you wouldn't mind sharing them.
