Lg Ms770 Touchscreen Not Working

The screen on my phone has been cracked for 6 months and i have never had a problem with it. after a call today, the screen stopped recognizing fingers touching it. i can still turn it on, but have to turn it off by removing the battery, since i have to swipe the screen to open the phone i cant do anything with it. i carefully removed the screen and it still wouldn't recognize it being touched so it seems like it might be a software problem. is there a update for a bug or can i maybe reset all factory settings by hooking it up to my computer with USB? any help is greatly appreciated.. thanks

Greetings - Fortunately the device can be Hard/Factory Resetted without the use of the touch function - and there is no need to hook it up to a computer either. Just follow the instructions on the link below -

Plug it into a computer and update drivers. Also do a hard reset.
