REFRIGERATOR SECTION IS TOO COLD

If the refrigerator compartment is too cold, make certain that the temperatures for BOTH the refrigerator and freezer compartments are set properly. If there is not a lot of food in the compartment, the doors are not opened very often, or the ambient temperature is cool, then the unit does not need to be set as cold. Most models will default to 0° for the freezer and 37° for the refrigerator.

If anything is in front of or close to an air vent in the refrigerator, those items will be colder because the air coming out of the air vent is colder than the set temperature. The reason for this is because the set temperature is for the warmest part of the unit. Refer to your owner’s manual for suggested food locations.

If your refrigerator is a French Door Model (LFX or LMX) with an ice maker compartment in the refrigerator door, check that the door to the ice maker compartment is shut completely. If the ice compartment door is not shut completely, that freezing temperature air will escape into the refrigerator compartment, freezing food items. Quoted from here
