Getting An Error Code Oe On My Lg Dishwasher Ldf7561st, Is There A Solution?

We would be glad to assist here! This error indicates that the unit was unable to completely drain within five minutes. If the error occurred when using the unit for the first time, then likely the unit is functioning properly and the cause could be a result of incorrect installation. The installer may not have removed the knockout plug (block) on the disposal unit. Consult the installation documentation that was included with the garbage disposal for the correct installation process. If the unit was professionally installed, you may want to have the installer back out to correct the installation.

If installation is correct, check your drain hose for kinking or the extension [too long]. This is also located in the installation guide which indicates the drain hose should not extend more than 10 ft.

Next, notice the bottom of the dishwasher inside; are there food particles or items at the bottom? If so, this can prevent proper draining. Remove the bottom rack and check the bottom of the unit for food debris or items that may have fallen out of the rack and into the bottom of the unit.

If your model has mesh filters in the tub, check for cloggs there. Water cannot flow into the drain pump if there is anything blocking. You may need to clean the filter.

Last, you want to make sure there are no air gaps in the drain connection. This is not part of the unit and is not covered by the warranty so you want to make sure this is not clogged.
