Battery Drain Issue
We bought a LG235C from Tracfone, left it on charge for full 24 hours before activating and using. The battery went dead in less than 6 hours or being on with no use at all. We recharged the battery and it lasted 10 to 12 hours the second time with no use at all. We recharged again and put the battery into another LG phone that uses the identical battery and this time the battery stayed hot for several days. This indicated to me that the phone was drawing more than a normal amount of current. We sent the phone back to Tracfone after much arguement with their customer service people and they replaced it with another LG235C phone. We had the identical problem with the second phone. We may have gotten 12 to 15 hours out of a charge on this one. We tried for several charges and it didn't get any better. We returned that phone also to Tracfone and now have the third LG235C--which is also doing the same thing. Is this a common problem with this model phone, is there something I am doing wrong relative to initial charging? I know this is a replacement issue through Tracfone but I can get no advice at all from their reps. thank you. wayne huskey
