Dryer Occasionally Shuts Off/cycles

Hello. On occation, the dryer starts but stop after about 10 sec. and then maybe about a minute later it will run for run for another brief period. This cycle appears to be more prevelent after it is first ran for a while...like the first load of the day it will go longer then after it warned up the next loads is when the cycling starts. The "check filter" is indicated, even after I've checked, washed, and dryed the filter screen. I've also cheaned the chrome sence bars on the face of the inside. Help?...thoughts? Thanks - Dryerless in Seattle
