Dryer Will Not Heat. Lint Filter And Sensors Are Clean. What Else Is Possible?

We have had the dryer for about 5-6 years. We do a lot of laundry as we have 4 kids. For the past few months it has made a sounds like the are shoes in the dryer. Today it stopped heating and is continuously in cooling mode. I cleaned out lint and sensors. What are other options? Trying to fix myself.
