Lg Scarlet 42lg60-ua Problems
sometimes when i turnit on only gives sound but not image, other times appears blinking horizontal brilliant lines all over the screen. There is any good person who can help me to fix the problem?

there are several things that can fail and effect the picture. Generally the horizontal (side to side) problems mean a LCD display (this is the thin glass section of the LCD panel that shows the picture), while vertical (up and down) can be anything from the LCD display the T-Con, Main or Power Supply boards. The way you can see the picture being displayed on the LCD display require the back lights to be lit. Sometimes the fact that you have a picture one time, and no picture the next might be also associated with whether or not the back lights are lighting up or not.
here is what you should try: put the TV in a pitch black room and turn it on. Watch the screen carefully for any evidence of the back lights illuminating or not when the TV isn't showing the picture. If the screen stays completely black (no back lights) then place a powerful flashlight against the screen (careful not to scratch the screen) and look to see if there is actually any video or those lines are present. If the panel lights up slightly then the problem is either the LCD display, the T-Con the Main or in some cases the Power Supply board (usually puffed up capacitors). You should also take pictures of the bad picture you sometimes get and attach them to another question with the results of what you found out with these exercises outlined above.

Same model. Same problem. Replaced the capacitors and left the back panel off to get rid of the heat. LG put cheap caps in all their TVs for about three years as far as my research went and without a fan the processor heat from the tru-motion chip frys the caps. I had removed the stand and had it just sittting on the bottom vents so I made a common problem worse but it was a cheap fix not counting how much I hate soldering.
