Kitcheaid Refrigerator Model Ksbp25inssoo Serial Sr4357380 Not Cooling

My refrigerator has stopped cooling and I was trying to figure out if it something I should replace or get a new one and if it is the former if I could do it on my own or if I need to get somenoe to do it for me. As I mentioned above my my frige has stopped cooling. I don't know if it makes a difference, but less than three weeks ago I had my ice maker replaced (except the flap door on the ice maker as the installer broke it when replacing the ice maker). In any event, I am still able to get water from the dispenser. All the lights and electrical (temperature display in the refrigerator) work in the unit, and so I don't know if it is something as simple as an thermostat (but it seems that the it works becuase it gives me a temeprature in the unit) or a fan or if it is something more serious like a compressor. As I write this I notice that there is no sound of a fan humming - could this be the issue?
