The Fan Keeps Turning On And Off By Itself. Sometimes For Long Periods Of Time.

We have animals at the house and I dont want to have it catch on fire with them in the house.  I went home and turned the microwave off at main switch board.   Thats not right.  I even smelled a little electrical smell.  What can I do...I don't want this in my house and can't afford a new one at this point.
