Start/resume Button Flashing

The Start/Resume button on the control panel starts flashing in the middle of the wash cycle. After I open the door and close it, the dishwasher starts operating for a few seconds, but the Start/Resume button starts flashing again and the dishwasher stops. I would really appreciate any help !
