Refrigerator Freezer Compartment Shuts Down And Water Dispenser Stops Working.
PREVIOUS POSTRefrigerator freezer compartment shuts down and as such, refrigerator looses cool air. In addition, the water dispenser refuses to work during this time.When the unit is unplugged and left for a while and then plugged back in, everything starts back working, including the water dispenser.This has happened on two occasions. Previously the refrigerator would have lost cooling because the cold air supply vent became blocked, but freezer remained functional and so too did the dispenser. Those were separate events though.Any thoughts. Thanks..Summary of previous post - The entire refrigerator stops cooling - freezer and refrigerator and during that time the water dispenser and ice dispenser stops functioning.The refrigerator was unplugged and left off for about 30 mins, after which it was plugged back in. Once this was done, everything returned to normal functionality.Could this be an intermittent issue with a circuit board or some other control mechanism?Thanks.
