Our Jeep Makes Loud Clunking Sounds When Accelerating Or Decelerating 0ver 55mph

At 55 or over, Jeep makes loud clunking noises when accelerating or taking foot off gas. they have replaced ball joints, tie rods and axles and changed fluid in transfer case to no effect.  what is the cause of the noise?
