How To Open My Jeep With Slim Jim

i locked my keys in my jeep and am about to buy a slimjim.....help plz

Unless your Jeep is from the med-1990's or earlier, a Slim Jim won't work. Your Jeep has to have the old style of a rod attached to the door lock mechanism in order to use that tool. Newer cars do not use rods any more. 

If you have an older Jeep, you just slip the Slim Jim down between the door glass and the weatherstripping. You have to feel around with the tool until you find the rod that the lock is connected to. Hook onto the rod and pull up. It can take a little time to snag the rod, but you should be able to find it eventually.
