Paddle Transmission

I just bought a new 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited. When driving it home, I inadvertenly hit the paddle control button, which put the jeep into manual transmission. It shows the arrow under the "D" and off to the side, shows the 1-8 gears changing. How do I get this back to normal? I tried what the manual showed, but this does not work. I took it back to the dealership, and they were no help. I want this my vechicle back into normal "drive" mode. Advise how I can reset this.
