Steering Wheel Locked

I was driving my 2011 Jeep Patriot and while making a right turn, steering wheel locked, and I was unable to turn and veered straight onto opposing (oncoming) traffic.  I immediately breaked, put jeep on PARK, turned it off and turned it back on and steering wheel unlocked.  I don't feel safe driving it anymore and took it to dealer to get checked.  They can't find anything wrong with it.  I don't know what to do! I don't want to drive it anymore, DON'T FEEL SAFE!
