I Have The 2009 Jeep Liberty With The Roll Back Roof 'sky Slider'
I started bring my Jeep back for repair on the roof after a few months of ownership from spring 2010 to every spring after. The first time they said the motor for the roof was bad and replaced it. Then it jumped off the track and they had to fix 2x because it still would not close all the way. The last time same thing it still would not close, I would have to keep trying a few times for it to shut good enough water won't get it. So this spring about 3 days ago. I opened the roof and could not close it. Now my warranty is up and they want to take the roof off to see what is going on. I have no money to pay for this. I called Chrysler and complained they put me back to the dealership for the repair. How do I get this paid for with out me paying. I brought the Jeep in at least 3x to avoid me paying when under warenty. Each time the mechanics would get dirty greasy hand prints all over the inside liner of my Jeep. It is like the sky slider was made wrong and none of the dealer ships know how to fix it. My warenty was for 3 years. I brought it in every yr to be fixed. I feel on going I should not have to pay for. Any Advice??? Or is it recalled I see online there are a lot of people with the problem.
